The 10th Annual MEITAL National Conference
The 2012 MEITAL conference, in memory of the late Prof. Nechemia Levzion, will be held this year in the Davidson Institute of Science Education on Tuesday, 10/7/2012, at The Weizmann Institute of Science. The conference will focus on social learning and the higher education, ethical and pedagogic dilemmas, and learning on and off campus - anytime, any where, any device.

It comprises a unique experience for both a formal and an informal professional meeting of all those involved in e-learning and e-teaching in higher education. The conference will include lectures dealing with the integration of e-learning in academic teaching in Israel, and an exhibition of posters and presentations. Workshops will be held the day before the conference. The conference will provide diverse opportunities for social and professional encounters in a pleasant, relaxed atmosphere. Academic staff members and others interested in e-learning in higher education institutions in Israel are hereby invited to participate.
The conference's chairman is Prof. Yoav Yair, Dean of Development and Learning Technologies at the Open Univeristy of Israel. The conference's Program Committee is headed by Dr. Yossi Elran, Head of Technology in Education Unit at Davidson Institute.
